I want Bernard to fix several things on my list at once

Your site’s page lists the things Bernard can still improve. You can have them done one at a time with Fix this, or hand Bernard several at once and come back later to approve them together.

How it works

  1. Tick what you want fixed. On your site’s page, open Things Bernard can still improve and tick the fixes you want. A bar appears showing how many you’ve ticked and the most it can cost.
  2. Press “Fix the ticked ones”. Bernard works through them one after another, each as a draft change. You can close the page. The list shows which one he’s on.
  3. Check and approve. When he’s done, the list says how many are ready. Press Check and approve to see each fix with Bernard’s own note on what he changed, and a link to look at your draft site.
  4. Approve the ones you want. Untick any you’d rather not have, then approve the rest. They go live together, and Bernard re-checks each one afterwards, as he does for every fix (see How Bernard checks your site - and what he does about it).

If a fix doesn’t work

The others still come back. The one Bernard couldn’t do says why, in plain words, goes back on your list, and costs nothing.

Questions people ask

Does anything go live while Bernard works?
No. Each fix lands on a draft. Nothing reaches your live site until you approve it on the review page.
How many can I tick at once?
Up to 10. If you want more, start with the 10 that matter most and tick the rest once those are done.
What does it cost?
The bar shows the most it can cost before anything starts. You are only charged shells for the fixes you approve. A fix Bernard can’t do, or one you send back, costs nothing. With your own AI connected, it’s on the house.
Can I approve some and not others?
Yes. Every ready fix starts ticked on the review page. Untick any you don’t want, approve the rest, and they go live together. The unticked ones go back on your list and their shells come back to you.
Why can’t I tick some rows?
A few rows are caused by bernard’s own code rather than yours, so there is nothing for you to approve. We fix those for every site at once.
Why won’t it start?
If your site already has changes waiting to be approved, Bernard asks you to approve or discard those first, so these fixes can be checked on their own.
