Give clients a private hub of resources
A client hub is a course of kind client hub: the same private engine,
speaking of resources, living at /clients/<its-handle>/, saying “For
current clients” on its door.
The prompt
“Set up a client hub called [name] with these resources: [list]. Current clients only, by invitation. Draft it and tell me how to add a client.”

Setting it up
- Create it on your courses page with “What are you making?” set to Client hub, or ask Bernard.
- Add each resource as its own page (Add a lesson to my course) - a template, a guide, a recorded call. Group them into sections if there are many.
- Leave one resource open to everyone if you want a public welcome page.
- Set access to by invitation. Add a term only if a client’s access should end by itself.
- Publish, then approve the draft.
Adding a client
Once you have approved the draft and the hub is live, give Bernard the client’s email and the hub’s name (Enrol a student myself - they paid elsewhere). They receive one email with their link in, so invite nobody before you approve. Remove them the same way when the work ends.
The hub has no progress ticks, no certificates and no quizzes. If you later want it to be a document library or a handbook instead, ask Bernard to change the kind (Course, library, client hub or handbook - which to choose).
Questions people ask
- How is a client hub different from a document library?
- Only in its words and its address. A hub speaks of resources and says For current clients; it lives at /clients/. Underneath it is the same engine, so inviting, expiry and the preview all work the same way, and nothing is live until you publish and approve the draft.
- Can I give every client the same hub?
- Yes. Invite each client by email and they all see the same resources. When someone stops being a client, remove them and their access ends.
- Can a hub hold recordings?
- Yes. A recording says Listen on its row, a film says Watch, a template or a guide says View.
