Send yourself a student email before your students get it
A preview proves the layout. A test proves the whole delivery: the sender name, the From address, the reply address and the private link a student would use.

Ask Bernard to test one of the four practical student emails. He first shows you the exact destination, sending lane, addresses and digest. Nothing goes out until you approve that quote. The confirmed test goes only to the account member who asked for it. You cannot substitute a student or another address.
The link in the test opens your own student home on this site for one hour. It does not enrol you or grant access. If your account email is not already enrolled, the page is correctly empty. A real student receives their own link with their own access.
Each site can send ten of these tests per day. This cap is separate from real course notices. To change the words before testing, start with Change the emails your students get.
Questions people ask
- Who receives a student email test?
- You do. It goes only to the account member asking for the test, never to a student or an address typed into the conversation. Bernard shows the destination and exact digest for approval before sending.
- Does the private link enrol me?
- No. It opens your own student page on this site for one hour, but it grants no course access. The page is empty unless your own account address is already enrolled.
- How many tests can I send?
- A site can send ten student-email tests in a day. The eleventh waits until the daily limit resets.
