See who has signed an agreement in my contacts
When you send an agreement to someone who is already in your contacts, Bernard links the two. The agreement then shows on that person’s page, and once it is signed it gives them a tag you can use like any other.

On the person’s page
Each contact’s page has an Agreements section listing what you have sent them, where each one has got to, and a link to its page. The full list for the whole site is in Your customers > The Seal (Get a contract signed).
The tag
When an agreement is complete, the person is given the tag agreement: followed by its title, for example “agreement: Six-week glazing mentorship”. A long title is cut short, because a tag holds up to 50 characters. The agreement is the record, and the tag is a copy of it for your lists: removing the tag changes nothing about the signed agreement. The tag does not start an automatic email series (“when someone is tagged”), the same as a certificate’s tag; to email everyone who signed, choose the tag as the audience of a campaign.
So you can ask Bernard things like “who has signed the mentorship agreement?” or “list everyone tagged agreement: Marking contract 2026”. Agreements that are waiting, declined or withdrawn add no tag; ask Bernard about those, or look in The Seal tab (Someone has not signed the agreement I sent).
Using the same title
Give every agreement of one kind the same title, such as “Marking contract 2026”, and everyone who signs it carries the same tag. A different title makes a different tag.
Questions people ask
- When is the tag added?
- When the agreement is complete: the person has signed and, if you countersign, you have too. An agreement that is still waiting adds no tag.
- What if the person is not in my contacts?
- The agreement is still sent, signed and kept in The Seal tab. It just does not appear on a contact page or add a tag. If you want both, add them in Your customers with the Add contact button first, then send it.
- Does the tag mean I can email them?
- No. Signing an agreement is not agreeing to hear your news. A campaign still goes only to the people who have agreed, and Bernard asks you to approve every campaign before it is sent.
