Can I email my list while I’m on a trial?
Your trial is your whole site, moved in, for fourteen days. It is also your whole list, if you want it to be. Bring your export in, read the report before anything is written, approve it, build an audience, write a campaign and preview it. Then send a test to yourself, or to anyone on your account, and see exactly what would land.

What the trial does not do
The one thing a trial does not do is send that campaign to your real list. Ask Bernard to, and he will say so and offer the test instead. Sending to your list is what taking the keys unlocks, on the Billing tab of your account, and everything you set up in the trial carries straight over.

A copy of a website reaches nobody until you point your address at it. An email reaches real people the moment it goes. We would rather a trial reached nobody by accident than someone by mistake, and the same care protects the sending reputation that every bernard customer shares.

- Yes, all of it. Upload your export, read the report before anything is written, and approve it as a whole. The trial is the right time to see how your people look in bernard.
- So what can’t I do?
- Send a campaign to your real list. During the trial a campaign can go to you and the people on your account, so you can see exactly what would arrive. The first send to your list happens after you take the keys.
- Why the line there?
- Because a copy of a website is harmless until you point your address at it, but an email reaches real people the moment it is sent. If someone unsubscribed during a trial that was later deleted, their no would be lost. We would rather not send at all than send and forget a no. It also protects the sending reputation every bernard customer shares.
- How do I unlock it?
- Take the keys on the Billing tab of your account. Your list, your audiences and the draft you approved are all still there, and nothing is redone.

- No. That is the trial working as designed. He will say so in plain words and offer to send you a test instead.
