What happens when my 14-day trial ends?
When you paste your address on the doorstep and leave an email, Bernard moves your whole site into its new home and sends you the keys. From that moment it is yours for fourteen days: every page, the workshop, the lot. No card, nothing to pay up front.

The fourteen days
You can do anything a paying customer can do. Ask Bernard for changes in plain words, approve what you like, look at how your pages measure up, connect your own Claude if you have one. Your old site, wherever it lives, is untouched the whole time. Nothing you do in the trial can break it.
Five days before the end
Bernard emails you. It says, plainly: your trial ends on such-and-such a date, shall we keep it going? If the site has earned its keep, you put your plan on a card and it simply carries on: same address, same pages, same everything. That is What does it cost?, and it is the only ask.
If you need longer, reply and say so. If it turns out not to be for you, that is a perfectly good answer, and we would still like to hear it.
When the trial is up
If we haven’t heard from you, we get in touch before anything changes. Nothing comes down on a timer, and nothing goes without us speaking to you first. Your old site was never touched, so whatever you decide, nothing of yours goes dark.
Before you decide
Ask your AI to show you what’s on the site now, what’s changed since it moved in, and what you’d be keeping. It only reads; nothing on your site changes from asking. Questions people ask
- Does my site switch off on day 14?
- No. Five days before the end, Bernard emails to ask whether to keep it going. If we haven’t heard from you when the trial is up, we get in touch before anything changes. Nothing vanishes on a timer.
- What do I have to do to keep it?
- Put your plan on a card, from the email or from Billing in your account. It’s £200 a year or £20 a month, and the price you join at is the price you renew at. Everything you approved in the trial carries on exactly as it is.
- What if I need longer to decide?
- Reply to the trial-ending email and say how much time would help. We would far rather give you a few more weeks than have you decide in a hurry.
- What happens to my old site during the trial?
- Nothing. Your old site stays where it is, untouched, until you point your address at the new place. That is a step you take, not one we take for you.
- Do the changes I asked Bernard for stay if I keep the site?
- Yes. Everything you approved during the trial is already live on your bernard site. Keeping it changes nothing on the site itself, only who’s paying for it.
