Reuse a page or photos from my other site
If you run more than one site — a practice site and a courses site, an old brand and a new one — sooner or later a page belongs on the other one. A directory that should live on the site it's actually about. A testimonials page you want in both places. The slow way is copy-paste and re-uploading every image by hand, and it always breaks something: photos go missing, the styling doesn't come along, links point at the wrong depth.
On bernard, moving a page between your own sites is one ask.
What comes across
Ask your AI to copy a page from your other site and Bernard brings, in a single job:
- The page itself, placed at the address you choose on the destination site.
- Its styling, so the page looks the way it did — not a stripped, unstyled skeleton.
- Every photo, image and font the page uses, imported into the destination site's own storage. Nothing on the new page depends on the old site staying up.
The copy is taken from the page as it's published right now — what your visitors see — not from any half-finished draft on the source site. Your source site is only read, never changed. And before anything is written, Bernard checks the whole job fits within the destination site's storage — you'll never end up with half a page because space ran out midway.
What stays your decision
A copied page usually carries links into the rest of its old site — menu links, "see also" links. Where the destination site has a matching page, those keep working. Where it doesn't, Bernard leaves the link untouched and flags it for you in a short list, so you decide each one: point it back at the original site, aim it at a page here, or take it out. That's deliberate — guessing wrong about where a link should go is worse than asking.
The copied page also keeps the original site's header and navigation. If you want it re-dressed in the destination site's own header, ask for that next — it's the same job as Make the header match on every page.
Just the photos
Sometimes you don't want a page — you want the pictures. Ask for the photos by name or description and Bernard copies them straight between your sites' libraries, no downloading and re-uploading, in batches of up to about a hundred at a time. If one can't come across, you're told which and why, and the rest arrive anyway.
Nothing live without you
As with every change, the result lands as a draft on a preview — the copy only goes live on the destination site when you approve it, and you can discard it without a trace. If you're building the destination page up from parts rather than copying one whole, Add a new page is the other way in.

- Can I copy a page from one of my websites to another?
- Yes, if both sites live on bernard under your account. Ask your AI to copy the page across and it moves the page itself, the styling that makes it look right, and every photo and font it uses — in one go, without you exporting or re-uploading anything.
- Will the copied page look the same on the new site?
- Yes — the page arrives with its own styling and images, so it looks as it did on the site it came from. It keeps the original site's header and menu too, so if you want it to match the new site's look, ask for that as a follow-up edit.
- What happens to links that point at pages my other site has but this one doesn't?
- Bernard leaves them exactly as they were and gives you a list to decide on — point them back at the original site, at a page on this site, or remove them. Nothing is silently rewritten or dropped.
- Does the copy go live straight away?
- No. The copied page lands as a draft you check on a preview first — it only goes live once you approve it. If it's not what you wanted, discard the draft and nothing has changed.
- Can I just bring the photos over, without a page?
