How do I undo something Bernard did on his own?
Bernard only does things on his own when they are easy to put back. That is the rule that decides what counts as routine. See What does Bernard fix on his own?.

Your site history shows it
Each routine fix goes live through the same draft and history as every other change, and is marked as Bernard’s. Nothing he does on his own skips your history.
Putting a fix back
On your board, a fix Bernard made on his own has an Undo in its history. It puts back only the pages that fix changed and publishes that, so it is live straight away. Only the site owner can use it. You can also restore the earlier version from your site history, or ask Bernard to put the page back how it was.
Bernard will not publish an undo over unpublished changes of your own. If your draft holds work you have not approved yet, publish or discard it first.
When Bernard puts it back himself
If one of his fixes fails its check on the live site, Bernard puts it back on his own and tells you. See What happens when Bernard gets something wrong?.
Undoing teaches him
An undo counts against that kind of fix. If you keep undoing one kind, it goes back to waiting for your approval. See Is it safe to let Bernard do things on his own?.
Questions people ask
- Where do I see what Bernard changed?
- In your site history, like any other change. His fixes are marked as his, so you can tell them apart from changes you approved yourself.
- How do I put one back?
- Use Undo in the fix’s history on your board: it puts back only the pages that fix changed and goes live straight away. You can also restore an earlier version from your site history, or ask Bernard to put the page back; a restore like that is prepared first and goes live when you approve it.
- Does undoing a fix make Bernard stop?
- Undoing counts. If you undo more than a few of one kind of fix, that kind goes back to being prepared for your approval instead of done on its own. An undo is taken as your preference, not as a fault.
- Can every change be undone?
- Everything Bernard does on his own without asking is easy to put back: that is why only routine fixes qualify. Anything that cannot be taken back, such as an email, is never done without asking.
