Add reviews and testimonials
Nothing you say about your own work persuades like a few honest words from someone who bought it. Most makers have these — in emails, in Instagram comments — and never put them on the site. On a bernard-hosted site, you hand them to your AI and it lays them out.
How it works
- Get your access prompt. Log in to bernard, open your site, and copy the prompt from Edit with AI (it contains a key that works for 12 hours).
- Paste it into your AI — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, whichever you already use — then give it the quotes and who said them, or use the prompt below.
- Approve. The AI shows you where the testimonials sit and how they look. Check it, press Approve, and it's live.
Put them where decisions happen — beside the work, the prices, the contact form. And keep them readable: a wall of glowing quotes gets skipped, so let your AI make them skimmable, the same care you'd give with Make my pages easy to skim.
The prompt
“I have some kind words from customers — [paste them, or list who said what]. Add them to my site as testimonials, somewhere they'll build trust, and lay them out nicely. Show me where you've put them before it goes live.”
The [bracketed] parts are yours to fill in. First time? Log in to bernard → your site → Edit with AI → copy your access prompt, paste that into your AI first, then ask the above.
Questions people ask
- Where should testimonials go on my website?
- Where people decide — near your work, your prices, or your contact details. A genuine quote from a happy customer does more than anything you can say about yourself. Your AI can place them well on a bernard site, and you approve the layout on a preview first.
- Can I just paste reviews from email or Instagram?
- Yes — give your AI the words and who said them, and it formats them into testimonials. You approve where they appear and how they look before publishing.
