Help me choose the best photo
Ten near-identical shots, one spot on the page — choosing is the slow part. On a bernard-hosted site you can hand the choice to the AI: it looks at the actual pictures and tells you which one earns the place, then does the placing.
How it works
- Get your access prompt. Log in to bernard, open your site, and copy the prompt from Edit with AI (it contains a key that works for 12 hours).
- Paste it into your AI — then attach the candidate photos together and say where the winner should go, or use the prompt below.
- Approve. The AI names its pick, explains why, and sends a preview with it in place. If you'd have chosen differently, just say so — it swaps in your favourite.
It's your eye that decides — the AI gives you a first opinion and does the labour. Once the winner's chosen, it can shape it too (Crop or resize a photo) or put it where an old photo sits (Replace a photo anywhere on my site).
The prompt
“I've attached [how many] photos — look at them and tell me which works best for [where, e.g. the top of my About page], then use the one you'd pick.”
The [bracketed] parts are yours to fill in. First time? Log in to bernard → your site → Edit with AI → copy your access prompt, paste that into your AI first, then ask the above.
Questions people ask
- Can the AI actually see my photos?
- Yes — it looks at the pictures themselves, not just their file names. It can tell you which shot is sharpest, which suits the mood of the page, or which of three mugs photographs best, and explain why.
- How many photos can I attach at once?
- A handful per message works best — each file can be up to 10 MB. Paste them together so the AI can compare them side by side.
- What happens to the photos I don't use?
- They never touch your site — only the one you approve is placed, and the rest are tidied away on their own after a week. Nothing to clean up.
