Do I have to give a card to start the trial?
Most trials ask for a card first and hope you forget. Ours doesn’t, on purpose. The point of the trial is that you judge bernard with your own site in your hands, not with a card already in ours.

What starting takes
Paste your current web address. If Bernard can carry the site, he says so and asks where to send the keys. Leave an email. That’s the whole form. The email you get back has a six-digit sign-in code, so there is no password to make up either.
When money comes into it
Five days before the trial ends, Bernard emails to ask whether to keep it going. That email, and the Billing page inside your account, say the same number in the same words: What does it cost?, and the price you join at is the price you renew at. If you put a card in, the site carries on exactly as it is. If you don’t, nothing is charged, because there is nothing on file to charge.
After you’ve paid

- Can I be charged without doing anything?
- No. Nothing is charged unless you put a card in yourself. There is no card on file to charge.
- Is there a money-back guarantee after I pay?
- Yes. If bernard isn’t for you, tell us within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it in full, no quibble. Everything you approved stays live until the period you paid for runs out.
