How do I let someone into my community?

Letting someone into your community forum takes one sentence. Tell Bernard the name and email, and it does the rest.

What happens

Bernard finds or creates the person in your contacts. If they are new, they are added with the kind “community”.
Their forum access is recorded as “invited” with the role you chose (member by default, or moderator or read-only if you said so).
One sign-in email goes out. The person clicks the link, agrees to the community rules on their first visit, and they are in.

The once-a-day rule

Bernard sends one sign-in email per person per day. If you ask again the same day - or if the person asks through the sign-in page - nothing new is sent. The earlier email is the one to use.

Roles

member (default) - can read, post and reply.
moderator - can also remove posts and lock threads.
read-only - can browse every thread but cannot post or reply.
admin - reserved for people who are members of your bernard account.
