The wrong price is showing

A wrong price is worse than no price — it either undersells your work or scares a buyer off, and both cost you. On a bernard-hosted site you correct it by saying so, not by logging into a shop dashboard.

How it works

  1. Get your access prompt. Log in to bernard, open your site, and copy the prompt from Edit with AI (it contains a key that works for 12 hours).
  2. Paste it into your AI — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, whichever you already use — then ask in your own words, or use the prompt below.
  3. Approve. The AI sends back a preview link. Check the figure is right, press Approve, and it's live.

Prices have a habit of appearing twice — on a list page and on the item's own page. The AI checks every page, so they can't drift apart.

The prompt

The price of [the item] on my site is wrong — change it to [the correct price], everywhere it appears.

The [bracketed] parts are yours to fill in. First time? Log in to bernard → your site → Edit with AI → copy your access prompt, paste that into your AI first, then ask the above.

Questions people ask

How do I change a price on my website?
If your site is hosted with bernard, tell the AI you already use — ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini — which item and what the right price is. It updates every place the price appears, and nothing goes live until you approve it on a preview page.
What if the same item is priced on more than one page?
The AI reads each page of your site, so the price on the shop page, the item's own page and anywhere else all change together. The prompt on this page says 'everywhere it appears' for exactly that reason.
Can I put prices up across the whole site at once?
Yes — ask for it in plain words, like 'add 10% to all my print prices'. You'll see every new figure on the preview page before anything is published, so you can check the sums before pressing Approve.
