Move my whole price list from Podia
Podia holds one price per product, so creators sell a course several ways by copying it, give months of a membership with a hidden plan and a free trial, and give members a better price with a code anyone can use. Your price list on Podia is a set of workarounds. Moving it by hand means remembering every one. Bernard reads it instead.
The prompt
“I’m moving from Podia. Work out my prices, bundles, membership and codes from my Podia account, and show me what you found before you set anything up.”

How it works
- Ask Bernard to work out your prices from Podia. He reads your products, plans, coupons, subscriptions and sales through your Podia connection. Your courses should already be on bernard (Move my courses and members off Podia covers bringing them across; your students follow with Move my students from Podia, Teachable or Kajabi).
- He tells you the rules he found, with the evidence. For example: “The painting course is sold three ways: £200 on its own, £250 with 3 months of the club, £350 with 12 months. 6 of the 7 free trials on the hidden club plan began within a minute of a £250 purchase.” Each rule says how sure he is.
- He shows what he could not explain. A product of a kind bernard does not sell, sales at a price no code accounts for, sales of a product that was renamed. He asks you rather than guessing.
- He checks the total. Your paid sales are added up and compared with Podia’s own figure.
- You fill in what only you can say, such as how a member cancels when free months roll on to paid.
- Bernard checks the whole price list and shows what every kind of buyer would pay (Help me plan my prices: courses, bundles, a membership and member prices). After your yes it is set up as drafts, and you publish when you are happy.
Your buyers on Podia are not contacted at any point. People who already bought keep what they paid for and the time they had left (Bring my students across with the time they have left).
Questions people ask
- Do I have to explain my pricing?
- No. Bernard reads your products, plans, coupons, subscriptions and sales on Podia, and works out the rules from what people actually paid. You check the rules he found; you do not fill in settings.
- Does bernard need my Podia password?
- No. Bernard reads Podia through the Podia connection you already use with your assistant. bernard never holds your Podia login.
- Can Bernard see my buyers’ names and emails?
- Bernard does not use them. A buyer is only a number to him, used to see that a membership began just after a course purchase. What he shows you is counts and dates: 6 of 7, never who.
- What does it find that Podia does not show?
- The rules behind your workarounds. A course copied three times at three prices is one course sold three ways. A hidden plan with a free trial that starts the minute someone buys a course is months of membership included with that course. A public code that mostly members use is really a member price, and Bernard counts how many non-members used it.
- How sure is Bernard?
- Each rule comes with its evidence and how sure he is: high, medium or low. A rule with little evidence, such as a version that sold once, is marked as such, and Bernard asks you about it.
- Does the total add up?
- Bernard adds up your paid sales and compares them with Podia’s own total. If they differ, he says by how much, so nothing is lost on the way.
- What about codes that have ended, and single-use codes already used?
- They are listed as history, so you can see them, but nothing is set up for them. Live codes and unused single-use codes come across.
- Is anything set up straight away?
- No. Working out your prices changes nothing. You check the rules, Bernard shows what every kind of buyer would pay, and only after your yes is it set up, as drafts that wait for your approval before anything is live.
- I sell on ThriveCart. Can Bernard do the same?
- Not yet: ThriveCart has no way for Bernard to read your products and coupons. Tell Bernard how you sell in your own words and he plans it with you instead (Help me plan my prices).
