Can Bernard suggest a month of posts, a blog post and a newsletter I can edit?
Some months you know exactly what to say. Other months you look at an empty calendar and nothing comes. Bernard can start you off: one set of ideas for the month, written from what he knows about your business, ready for you to edit. For the calendar itself, see What is Bernard’s calendar of work?.
The prompt

What is in a set
- Two longer pieces: a blog post and a newsletter to the people who said yes to your emails.
- Six short posts: one post for one network each, spread across Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
You can ask for more or fewer, for example “just three posts this time”. Bernard writes them from your site’s brief and voice, the goal you chose, what people search for to find businesses like yours, and what you already posted, so a set does not repeat last month. He never invents prices, dates, offers or results; a number appears only when it came from your own facts.
Where it lands
Every idea goes on your shelf, after the items already there, marked as Bernard’s. Read each one, change what you like, and delete what does not fit. When you edit an idea, it becomes yours. Your own items keep their place: a new set never moves them.
You can add your own idea beside his at any time: see Can I put my own post, blog post or email on my calendar, in my own words?.
Putting the shelf on your calendar
When you are happy with the order, ask Bernard to put the shelf on your free days, for example two posts and one longer piece a week from Monday. The items become planned on their days. Nothing is approved for you.
Nothing goes out without you
A suggested set never posts, sends or publishes anything. A post goes out only after you press Schedule; a newsletter only after you accept its quote; a blog post only when you publish it.
When you want one long piece in many places
Already wrote a good blog post? Bernard can turn it into short posts that quote your own sentences: see Can Bernard turn one blog post into posts for my socials?.
Questions people ask
- Does a suggestion go out on its own?
- Never. Each one waits on your shelf as an idea until you edit it. A post goes out only after you press Schedule, which is your approval of the exact words and time. A newsletter is sent only after you accept its quote, and a blog post goes live only when you publish it.
- How often can I ask for a set?
- One set an hour for each site, and inside Bernard’s daily limit for writing. If you ask again too soon, Bernard tells you when you can ask again; the set you already have stays on your shelf to edit.
- Will Bernard change the posts I wrote myself?
- No. Your own items are marked as yours. A new set goes on the shelf after them and never rewrites them or changes their order.
- Is it Bernard’s or mine?
- A suggestion is marked as Bernard’s until you edit it. Once you change its words, it is yours, and it stays exactly as you left it.
- Does Bernard suggest a set by himself?
- No. He writes a set only when you press Suggest or ask him, in the Workshop or from your own assistant. Near the end of each month, a card on your calendar offers next month’s set, and nothing happens until you press it.
