How do I turn one idea into a week of content?

You don't need a fresh idea every day — you need to get more out of each good one. A single idea, reshaped, can carry a whole week.

Write once, reshape many

Start with one real idea and make the proper version — a post or guide on your website. Then reshape it for each place it needs to go: a short, punchy take for social, a genuine question for a community, a line for your newsletter. Same idea, shaped for each audience, never an obvious copy-paste.

The keeper lives at home

The full version belongs on your own site, where it lasts and where AI can read it. Ask your AI to draft it as a blog post or an FAQ — it arrives as a draft you approve — and point everything else back to it (Write a blog post from my notes).

This is how you keep a calendar

Repurposing is the trick that makes a real posting rhythm sustainable — it's why How do I make a content calendar I'll actually keep? is achievable at all, and a core move in Your first six weeks: a starter plan.

The prompt

You're my content coach. Here's one idea I want to share: [your idea]. Here's my voice [paste a few sentences, or ask bernard for your website's voice]. Turn it into a week of content: a proper piece for my website, plus shorter versions for [my chosen channels], each shaped for that place — all in my voice, none of it obviously recycled.

The [bracketed] parts are yours to fill in. First time? Connect bernard to your AI over MCP — a one-time setup in bernard → your site → Use your own AI — then paste the prompt above.

Questions people ask

Won't people notice I'm reusing the same idea?
Not if you reshape it rather than copy-paste it. A guide on your site, a short take on social, a question to a community — same idea, genuinely different for each place. That's smart, not lazy.
Where does the main version live?
On your own website — the one thing you own. Ask your AI to write it as a blog post or FAQ; it lands as a draft you approve before it goes live, and your social posts point back to it.
