Make it obvious how to reach me

Someone ready to email you, commission you or book you will give up if they can't find how in a few seconds — and on a surprising number of sites, the contact details hide on one buried page. On a bernard-hosted site, your AI can make reaching you obvious from everywhere.

How it works

  1. Get your access prompt. Log in to bernard, open your site, and copy the prompt from Edit with AI (it contains a key that works for 12 hours).
  2. Paste it into your AI — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, whichever you already use — then ask in your own words, or use the prompt below.
  3. Approve. The AI shows you where it's added or surfaced your contact details. Check it, press Approve, and it's live.

Tell it exactly how you want to be reached — and make sure the option sits near anything that prompts an enquiry. The commonest enquiry of all is about cost, so answer it before it's asked with Make my prices and what's included clear.

The prompt

Check that it's obvious how to get in touch with me from any page — [how you want people to reach you, e.g. email, a contact form, Instagram]. Add it where it's missing and make it easy to find. Show me before changing anything.

The [bracketed] parts are yours to fill in. First time? Log in to bernard → your site → Edit with AI → copy your access prompt, paste that into your AI first, then ask the above.

Questions people ask

Where should my contact details go?
Somewhere reachable from every page — and repeated near anything that prompts an enquiry, like your prices or a commission page. A visitor who's ready to get in touch shouldn't have to hunt. Your AI can fix this on a bernard site, and you approve the changes on a preview first.
Should I put my email address or a form?
Whatever you'll actually check. Tell your AI how you want to be reached and it sets it up; you approve where it appears before it goes live.
