Can I run my marketing from Bernard?

Your marketing is already in Bernard. The calendar of what to write and share, the people who come to you, the emails you send them, the forms on your site. Bernard Marketing gives your own assistant all of it through one connection, so you do not pay for a second system to hold the same people and the same plan.

The prompt

“Connect to my Bernard Marketing and tell me what is on my calendar this week, who joined my list this month, and which campaign went out last.”

Signed in, Get my prompt fills in your site for you. Otherwise press Copy and fill in the [bracketed] parts. First time? Connect your AI to bernard once: Use your own AI (opens in a new tab).

Connect it

  1. Open Use your own AI in bernard.
  2. Find the Bernard Marketing row: “Your content calendar, contacts, campaigns and forms in one connection”.
  3. Press Connect and approve the connection in your assistant.

If a connection does not work, see My assistant won’t connect to bernard. You can keep your Bernard Email connection as well; they work on the same people and the same campaigns.

What your assistant can do through it

  • Your calendar. Read what is planned, plan the first three months, extend the plan when it runs short, put in the dates you dictate and move what needs moving. See Can my assistant plan my content calendar?.
  • Blog posts. Write the post a calendar entry asks for, in the shape your blog already uses. It lands in your draft and goes live only when you approve it. See Write a blog post from my notes.
  • Your people and lists. Everything the Email connection does: who is on which list, who opened what, and who has gone quiet.
  • Campaigns and automatic emails. Draft, preview and test. A real send always waits for your yes, in words, in that conversation.
  • Forms. Add a contact or enquiry form to a page and read what people sent.
  • Publishing. When you ask for it, and only then. Publishing puts the whole draft live, not one page.

What stays the same

The words Bernard uses are the ones you already see: a list is the tag on a contact, a smart list is a saved audience. Your approvals do not change: a send needs your yes, a page needs your approval, and your assistant cannot approve Bernard’s own work for you.

Questions people ask

Is Bernard Marketing a separate app or a separate price?
Neither. It is one connection that gathers the marketing jobs Bernard already does for you: the calendar, your people and lists, email campaigns and automatic emails, your forms, and publishing what you approve. It is part of Nautilus.
Does connecting it give my assistant new permissions?
No. It can do exactly what your Bernard Email and Bernard Site connections can do, nothing more. A campaign still needs your yes before it is sent, and a page still waits for your approval before it goes live.
What can it do today, and what is coming?
Today: your content calendar from your assistant, and everything the Email connection does. Companies, a move from HubSpot, event bookings and a marketing report are planned and will appear here as each one ships.
