Your site brain is the first part of your business brain. It is everything bernard knows about one website, kept as a short set of documents: who the site is for, how you sound, how it looks, what you offer, what the site is for, who you compete with, and how the pages fit together. Your business brain sits above it and holds what is true of the whole business, so a second site or a course can start from what the first one already taught bernard.
When bernard reads it
bernard looks things up in your brain when a job needs them: your audience before it gives advice, or your offer before it writes about your prices. For everyday words and looks it already has your Your Style answers, so it does not read the whole brain every time. When it does use your brain, it says which part it used, and it can say something useful like “your strategy says families, but your homepage talks to companies”.

Ask what it knows
Ask bernard what it knows about you. It reads your brain back in plain words, says which parts you have checked, and names the two or three gaps that would help it most if you filled them. A missing part is shown as missing, never guessed.
How it fits with Your Style
Your Style is the short version every job reads: your answers about how you sound and look. Your site brain is the fuller record behind it. Teach it and correct it
If something is missing or wrong, tell bernard. It shows you each change before saving it, and saves it only when you say yes; you can undo the last change it made. Questions people ask
- Can bernard change my brain without asking?
- No. Reading your brain changes nothing. When you correct something, bernard shows you the exact change and saves it only when you approve, and you can undo the last change it made. Any edit to your site that comes from it is still a draft that waits for your approval before it goes live.
- Do I have a site brain yet?
- Bernard Brain is in beta and we switch it on for your whole business by hand when you ask: email [email protected]. Until then, bernard says so in one sentence and carries on with your Your Style answers, so nothing stops working.
- Can my own AI assistant read it too?
- Yes, once Bernard Brain is switched on for your business. A Bernard Brain row appears on your Use your own AI page; press Connect and your assistant reads the same brain bernard does, so you never explain your business twice. Any change it suggests still comes to you for approval first.
